The Turkish Threat

No votes yet

In the sixteenth century, the Ottoman Empire was knocking at the gates of Europe. Its armies conquered the Balkans and marched on Vienna. Europe was in the grip of fear. Pamphlets containing authentic or fake calls by Turkish rulers to fight against the Christians responded to this mood. This way, public opinion was influenced. In this pamphlet, Sultan Suleiman (1494 1566) was said to incite people to fight the Christians.
